Biochemistry:
Branched chain amino acid synthesis (ALS or AHAS) inhibitor. Acts
by inhibiting biosynthesis of the essential amino acids valine and isoleucine,
hence stopping cell division and plant growth
Mode of action:
Selective contact herbicide, absorbed by the foliage and roots,
with rapid translocation in xylem and phloem to the meristematic tissues.
Uses:
Selective herbicide which controls most annual and perennial
grasses and broadleaf weeds in onion when it has 2-5 leaves.
Its recommended at 2-3L/ ha
Another method for spraying: spray twice with distance of 18
days from eachother which the ratio is 750cc/ha in each term
Antidote: Do not have specific antidote.
