Biochemistry:
Inhibits beta-tubulin synthesis.
Mode of action:
Syntetic fungicide with protective and curative action. Absorbed
through roots and green tissues with translation acropetally act by inhibiting
development of the germ tubes, the formation of appressoria , and growth of
mycelia.
Uses :
It controls Septoria, Fusarium, Erysiphe and
Pseudocercosporella on cereal; Sclerotinia, Alternaria, and Cylindrosporium
on oilseed (such ascanola, sunflower,soybean) ; Cercospora and Erysiphe
in sugar beet, Uncinula and Botrytis in grapes, Venturia , monilia,
Sclerotinia in pome and stone fruit. Also it uses as seed treatment to control Tilletia,
Ustilago in cereals and fusarium in maize.
